NURSERY EDUCATION FOR 3 AND 4 YEAR OLD CHILDREN

Under the current government scheme nursery grant funding is provided for all children aged 4 yrs to guarantee nursery "education". From September 1999 the funding was extended to 3yr old children

THE NURSERY AS AN OPTION

For various reasons, you are considering a nursery for the care and development of your child. We hope that you will see Rainbow House as a realistic option.

Our staff are reliable and stable, should one become sick or take a holiday, we are prepared and make appropriate adjustments.

Most of our staff are qualified nursery nurses with experience, many have children of their own. Currently two of our staff have children attending the nursery.

Our Officer In Charge is also a qualified S.E.N. with experience at Alder Hey Hospital.

As a team we aim to care for each child to the best of our ability. From an early age, children will be given personal attention and suitable activities. We have always aimed to develop the children's language, mathematical and artistic skills within the play environment. Musical opportunities are provided for the children in the form of singing and the playing of musical instruments. We have always involved a professional music teacher and currently are fortunate to have the services of a teacher from Little Notes Music School in Crosby.

Recently(October '99) we engaged the services of a French teacher for our kindergarten children. This has been a very successful educational opportunity, which the children greatly enjoy.
